Lawnmower Engine Overhaul Part II

Roy Shumate and Master Mechanic stopped by and lent a hand for awhile. He has rebuilt hundreds of motors and has lots of motor rebuilding knowledge to give.
Pistons bolted in and cam gears aligned.

Heads bolted on.

Installing the carburetor and intake manifold.

Shroud on and ready for the grass screen.

It's Official - We're Staying

I guess despite my major humanity issues my dear flock unanimously voted 34-0 to retain me for awhile. They have extended to me an open call. We are not sure how long God wants us here at Keepville, but we do know that God has made it clear to us that our work here is not done. We have much to do in our continued efforts at building and renovating here at Keepville. Our congregation is growing and we need more sanctuary space. We are starting immediately to work at finishing our renovation project. Our plan is to be done by next June in time for a dedication service.

Hopefully in a year we plan in building our own home on the three acres that the trailer we live in sets on. We are excited about this and we already have begun to dream about house designs.

Sonoma Becomes Hunter Payne

The Paynes some friends of ours from Ohio stopped over to pick up Sonoma. They decided to name him Hunter.
Here is Tarissa and Mary with the pooch.

John and Hunter

Sending Text pics of the pooch to all their friends.
Hunter is going to be one spoiled pup.

Rockingham Meets His New Family

Rockingham becomes Rocky and joins his family. What is great about this is we can visit him whenever we want as he now lives about 1 mile from us. Here Vincent is giving Rocky to his new owner - Logan.

A big pup for 6 1/2 weeks.

Cameron gets to check out Rocky.
His new mentor and partner in crime Deisel was enjoying the meet and greet session. One can only imagine the schemes he is already planning.

Daniel's Recital

It has been a privilege to get to know Daniel Ridenour these last two years. We were honored to be asked to attend his Senior Recital. He has more music in his big toe than I have in my whole body. We enjoyed his performance accompanied by his Dad on the Euphonium. Here is playing the Xylophone.
Kettle Drums.

Piano

Snare Drums

....and some great P.D.Q. Bach!
