My good buddy John Payne stopped by tonight to get his rack scored. There is a minimal 60 day drying period for a Boone and Crockett score. The kids love it when he stops over and call him their favorite ice cream friend. He read them books, eats ice cream and wrestles with them. He says he is one of my friends that I am stuck with. I think that is a pretty good deal for me.
He shot this buck with a "cough" "cough" "crossbow". At least he got one, more than I can say. It had an unusual extra "beam" or "tine" that grew out from the base of the left side.
