Update on Marie McAdoo

Marie has made it from the hospital to her new home at Pleasant Ridge Manor in Fairview.

Her new room is on the first floor - J wing.

Snow Removal from our Roof

Over 2 feet of very heavy snow on our roof caused us some concern. With the warmer weather and potential rainfall, we decided that the natural sponge must come off manually. Although our trusses were engineered for the snow belt at 40 lbs per square inch, we wanted to get the snow off that would act as a sponge and accumulate allot of extra weight on our roof.
We installed a row of snow stops on the main roof to prevent the snow from falling onto the lower roof. This will ensure that a minimal amount of snow is present in any area.

Heartland Hunters Fellowship

Prayer Needed

Marie McAdoo, one of our saints is not doing so well. She has had several strokes and just had a heart attack. Thanks to her and 3 other ladies our church is still open when Allegheny wanted to close its doors. It is alive and growing. Pay for her and her family!

Ice Skating with Blaine

Blaine Cosner went ice skating with me and the boys Friday night. Blaine had never been ice skating, but he did awesome for the first time. All those years roller blading paid off. He plans on doing it again.

Snowfall

Season to date snowfall as of 7 am Jan 29 = 196.9 inches


I am guessing we had about 8" fall since then.


205" and counting....just waiting for that 2 feet we are to get by Tuesday!!

Still Working and Almost 90

I surprised my Granny and stopped in to see her where she works. Most can't wait to retire, she has kept going. Born in 1920 she is the oldest person still working that I know of.








Maddeline's Baby Dedication

I had the priveledge of dedicating Maddeline Paige, Marie Sherman's daughter this past Sunday. She was great and never cried even when I held her.
