Exie's First Date & the Chandlersville Road Visits
I had very little time and many people to see. Unfortunately I did not get to see everyone I wanted to. I made my trip worthwhile. First I took Exie on her first date. I tried to act very disapproving of this decision to date. After all she is just too young. Then again she is 16 and kids just seem to grow up way to fast. He seemed like a nice guy. I was so busy thinking about so many things I regret not getting there picture together. I had him fill out an application and read some rules before he could do so. Click here to read the application.
He was laying a drainage ditch in when I stopped. I had helped him set a pole and wire up his trailer about 6 or 7 years ago on this very spot. Wow time flies.

Prayer Needed
Bro. Tom Mooney from our church is in serious need of prayer. He has been in the hospital for 5 weeks today. Yesterday he took a turn for the worse and Byron spent the night at the hospital with them because they did not feel that he'd live through the night. Byron is still there - which is why I am posting for him. Right now they are preparing to take him to surgery. Thank you for your prayers.

Then we headed back to make sure our kids were behaving and to visit with Ray and Virginia. Ray worked for me wiring new homes in Muskingum County and even came up to our house to visit us and helped wire our church. Ray and I always greet each other with a "Hey Ray!" and he replies "Hi Guy!". I counted up about 5 homes and a large 850 amp commercial job he helped me with. We were catching up on news and enjoying their company till Ben and Carolyn got back from a 4-H meeting. The kids had fun trying to steel Ray's hat.

Here is a style of guitar playing that Tommy Immanuel would love to learn. I will post a clip of him playing in another post.

A little story....my kids were given bags by the registration desk. They proceeded to walk around the display booths and take all free items. After looking through there bags we found that they had not only taken free items but ones that needed paid for as well. So the homes to all the pretty pens and erasers and other cute gadgets had to be found.
