Hilton Head Island South Carolina

Hilton Head Island was one of the most unique places we visited on our vacation. It was unlike any other place we had ever been. It did not appear as a parking lot tourist place, but a nice island covered with trees with shops, stores and gas station hidden way back off the main road. The nicest beach we ever visited was Coligny Beach.

This picture was taken at the same time 15 years to the day Julia walked down the aisle to become Mrs. Julia Gurnee.

...and right after we kissed we were pronounced husband and wife - exactly 15 years to the minute! Yes we had to kiss out there in case you wondered!

Double click the picture to make it full size and you can see the fiddler crab on the sand dollar I found. It was so tiny yet it held its pinchers high over its body to defend itself from the mean ugly giant that had captured it.

Vincent spots some dolphins...
...at least I caught a pic of one.
