Founding Bible Presented to the Church

Here is the Bible that the founding pastor Rev. J. L. Moore used.

A portrait of Rev. J. L. Moore holding the Bible.

(Pictured l. to r.) Ruth (Randall) Steinheiser, Charlie Randall, and Ramona (Randall) Drury.

Charlie with tears in his eyes presents to the Keepville Church Rev. J. L. Moore's Bible. Rev. Moore is Charlie's great, great grandfather.

Charlie now aged 95 has many memories of the Keepville Church. He was born down the road and raised in the house next to the church.

My wife and I singing a cappella.

Preaching from the old Bible. It was used for the 100th anniversary service and in 2004 for the 160th anniversary service.

Thanks to Tom Rodgers for taking the pictures during the service.
